Where it all started

The seed for the Artisan’s Mercantile was planted in July 2024, when co-owners Juliana Woodall and Cecelia Brinke first crossed paths at one of the beloved Taylor Markets. What started as a chance meeting quickly blossomed into a meaningful friendship and later into business partners. Just a few months later, in October 2024, they opened the shop together—fueled by a passion for creativity and a commitment to supporting their local community.

Since then, the Mercantile has become a staple in Taylor: a go-to spot for thoughtful gifts, creative date nights, and warm community gatherings. Proudly woman-owned, we can’t wait to meet you and share in the joy of handmade, heart-driven work.
